• Notes

  Neuville-en-Beaumont is a tiny place and the only Gosselins there seem to be this one family. We know that the Marie who died in March 1822 was a spinster ("fille"), aged 45. This nearly matches the July 1777 birth and baptism, but not quite. Nevertheless, it seems most likely that it is the same woman.
