- Millicent seems to have arrived in Kidderminster at that about the same time as an Abraham Blakeborough. That Abraham can be firmly identified as the son of Abraham Blakeborough and Millicent née Milnes. It seems very likely that this Millicent is also their daughter, as both Millicent and Blakeborough are rare names, and Abraham and Millicent have no recorded daughter named after the mother. Moreover, there is a gap in the list of their children between 1756 and 1761, which is where we would expect Millicent to have been born, and this gap coincides with the family moving from Batley (near Dewsbury) to Chapel Allerton (near Leeds). It may be that they briefly lived elsewhere between Batley and Chapel Allerton, and perhaps Millicent's baptism is in some unindexed parish register.
