  • Name Mary White
    Gender Female
    Born Est 1745
    • Mary was said to be a "spinster of this parish" in her 1779 marriage at Whiteparish. Her husband John was born in 1744, which was quite old for a first marriage; Mary may have been a similar age, but could have been significantly younger. If she was born in Whiteparish, rather than having moved there, the only possibility is a baptism on 16 Mar 1747/48, son of John. However Mary White is a common name and there are lots of other possibilities in south-east Wiltshire in the late 1740s and 1750s. [1]
